Subject: TWRI Announce: Research Day Date: Thu, 14 May 2015 08:27:21 -0400 (EDT) From: dweaver@uhnres.utoronto.ca To: Yesterday's TWRI Research Day was yet another very successful event. To all those who worked so hard to make this happen and to all those who attended - thank you. We had a wonderful selection of presentations (both oral and poster) covering all three areas of TWRI's research focus: brain/spine, vision, arthritis. More than 260 people attended the keynote presentation by Dr. Gyorgy Buzsaki, and in conversations later in the day, Dr. Buzsaki commented about the enthusiastic questions and interest that he received from our trainees. This was our 15th annual research day - the longest standing one within UHN. It was a great day - well done and thank you!

‎Dear TWRI Staff, Faculty and Trainees,

We would like to thank all those that attended the Toronto Western Research Institute’s Annual Research Day on May 13, 2015. The continued success of this event would not be possible without the hard work of the Trainee Affairs Committee led by Dr. Frances Skinner as Chair and the TWRI Research Administration. A special thank you to all Postdoctoral, Senior Lab Personnel and Investigator judges, as well as to our Oral Session Chairs.

The results of the 15th Annual Research Day competition are posted on the TWRI News page: http://intranet.uhnresearch.ca/news/twri-research-day-2015-news

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all of our presenters that participated in Research Day!

If you would like to provide feedback on this event, please do not hesitate to contact the Institute office.

Warm Regards,
